From 1985 to 1995, Flavien chose the name Mambo to start painting graffiti in the Parisian suburbs, then in Paris and from there he travelled around the world to paint more walls. In this journey he collaborated with Sib One, La Force Alphabetick collective, but also André from Paris, Leoncavallo collective from Milano and Dzine, from Chicago. Here is a selection of painted walls, some were made illegally, others were commissioned by museums, art centers or festivals.
